On  behalf of U.K. Executive Committee Members , UK Board of Trustees, our Members, and our volunteers, we welcome you to VSVKC (UK) the official web portal of the Variav Sunnee Vohra Khidmat Committee (UK) .  Alhamdulillah, with your Duas and generosity we are able to offer educational and medical facility to our community in variav, Burma and UK.
We hope to keep you informed of what is happening at the Centre, provide information on current activities, news & notices and projects, let you know of future plans and our history, keep you updated with staff and management committee members to list just a few of the items on this site. Aims & Objectives 

To promote the benefit of in particular but not exclusively the Muslim inhabitants and their descendants of Variav Surat, Gujarat, India and including those who are now residents of the United Kingdom and other parts of the world by:
(a) the advancement of the Islamic faith; 
(b) the advancement of education;
 (c) the relief of poverty, sickness and distress;
 (d) the promotion of good health; and 
(e) the provision of recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.

MEMBERSHIP

Our Members

MEMBERSHIP
a) All Sunnee Vohra Muslim male or female who are born in Variav, District,Surat, India, or his/her father/mother, grandfather/grandmother or great grandfather/grandmother and or descendent is/are born in Variav, shall be the member of the VARIAV SUNNEE VOHRA KHIDMAT COMMITTEE UK. b) Any Female member of the committee who marries/married any Sunnee Muslim Male member of any other community/committee, her husband shall be given the option to apply for membership of the VARIAV SUNNEE VOHRA KHIDMAT COMMITTEE UK. c) Each member of the Committee shall pay (Membership) a sum agreed at the Annual General Meeting to the accumulated fund; the membership shall be due on the 1St day of Ramadan of each year. d) Members whose payment to the Accumulated Fund are in arrears, shall lose the right to vote in any meetings of the Committee, and will not be eligible for election to the Council and will not be allowed to take part in the administration and governing of the Committee. Such members may, however be re-instated the right to vote and be eligible for the Council of Management, on full payment of their arrears before the proceeding of the meeting. e) Member shall undertake further to the best of their ability, the Aims and Objects, the interest and influence of the Committee, and shall at all times observe the Rules and Regulations of the Committee and shall from time to time notify the Secretary of the Committee, who shall keep a register containing the names and addresses of all the members. 
f) The Council may refuse an application for membership if, acting reasonably and properly, they consider it to be in the best interests of the Committee to refuse the application. g) The Council must inform the applicant in writing of the reasons for the refusal within twenty-one days of the decision. 



h) The Council must consider any written representations the applicant may make about the decision. The Council's decision following any written representations must be notified to the applicant in writing, but shall be final. i) Membership is not transferable to anyone. j) Liability of a member, Council Member and Trustee is limited to £1.00. 5. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP Membership is terminated if: a) The member dies or, if the Committee, ceases to exist; b) The member resigns by written notice to the Committee unless, after the resignation, there would be less than two members; c) The member is removed from membership by a resolution of the Council that it is in the best interests of the Committee that his or her membership is terminated. A resolution to remove a member from membership may only be passed if: (i) the member has been given at least twenty-one days notice in writing of the meeting of the Council at which the resolution will be proposed and the reasons why it is to be proposed; (ii) the member or, at the option of the member, the member's representative (who need not be a member of the Committee) has been allowed to make representations to the meeting; d) Non payment of membership fee (will still have rights to the services of the committee).
